Stemmenes Skygge

Heilo HCD 7185 (2005)

Three great ladies of Nordic music - Swedish singer and fiddler Willemark, Norwegian singer and jew’s-harp player Bråten Berg and Danish percussionist Mazur - collaborate in traditional songs and the occasional instrumental. It’s a strong statement: whispering and soaring, sound and silence - stark and minimalist, perhaps to a fault.
