BASCO
The Remarkable Return Of Old Man Basco
GO’ Danish GO1313 (2013)
Swingy original instrumentals drawing on Nordic, British Isles and Quebecois
styles, from smart Danish quartet, largely twin-fiddle led cittern and accordion
with welcome brass guests, plus songs including guest Julie Hjetland singing a
ballad combining the dark stories of Denmark’s Liden Karen and England’s Prince
Heathen.
