As well as running an exemplarily-designed and mightily informative website on the gamut of Portuguese roots music, At-Tambur is a band; violin, whistles, guitar, hurdy-gurdy or accordion and drums, plus here guest female vocalists. Its music is tradition-derived but with much composition and wider European material including tunes by Paul James, Becky Price and Gilles Chabenat. www.at-tambur.com
