Showing that successful and fun world-fusion is no new thing, this augmented 1977 third album from “Archimedes’s Bathtub”, Don Cherry linked cult Swedish band of fluctuating lineup. Pleasingly shove-it-all-in but understanding Indian/African/jazz/Arabic grooves from every instrument they could find, held together by multi-instrumental leader Per Tjernberg and percussionist Bengt Berger. www.mnw.com
