ALBOKA
Alboka - Basque traditional music
Lagin L.G.SS 1013/94 (1994)

Four-piece instrumental band in a set of traditional tunes. Txomin Artola and Ganbara’s Josean Martín on guitars and other frets, Alan Griffin on flutes and other wind instruments including alboka, the distinctive small double-bore Euskal reed instrument with a cow-horn at each end, and accordionist Joxan Goikoetxea (he of 1993’s innovative Egurraren Orpotik Dator... album on NO-CD).
