Uulu UULU 0009  (2014)

Gains shape somewhat after an ill-chosen bin-chucking opening, 8 minutes of graunchy drone, throb and aimless vocal, but while Finnish band’s multi-influenced rhythms, plucking, blowing, percussion, wailing, didge, growl and throat-singing might well stir audiences live, as an album it’s at best patchy.
